Experimentation with Layers, Effects and Tools

The cut out image of the model was to be cut out with a pen tool, but I arrived late to class and had no idea what to do. I proceeded to use the lasoo tool to be able to complete the other exercises in class.
The image (top left) is composed with the background, followed the the image of the model, a shadow, with the text as the front layer.

The cut out image of the model was to be cut out with a pen tool, but I arrived late to class and had no idea what to do. I proceeded to use the lasoo tool to be able to complete the other exercises in class.
All four layers were switched around through order in which they appear, that is sending either one back, one forward etcetera.
The image (top left) is composed with the background, followed the the image of the model, a shadow, with the text as the front layer.
The second image had both the shadow and the text above the background, but behind the cut out of the model.
In the third image (top right), the model cut out's edges have been blurred into the background with a 'opaque eraser' tool, and various effects have been applied. A gradient has been formed on the background also.
